Therefore encourage one another with these words. – 1 Thessalonians
4:18
This day with God, let us take
every opportunity to encourage and learn from each other so we are ready for
the challenges of tomorrow. Go to the ONE who created it all and passionately
stir each other up to boldly step ahead.
His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was
weary of holding it back, and I could not. - Jeremiah 20:9
Shared in the post “Enthusiastically Spread the Good News” were
the reasons Timothy was sent by Paul to the Thessalonians. In the same way, we
are sent into the world to inspire and enthusiastically spread the Good News.
Let us live this day to the
fullest by doing our part to get the
Word into more hearts. As the message in this video, God is on the Move by 7eventh Time Down,
there may be difficulties but we can use these difficulties to build up strength
and endurance to run the race for a victorious life.
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in
lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you
look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
As shared in the post “Aim to Please God Only” Paul, Silas, and
Timothy set out to share the Gospel message not for their own interest but for
the interest of the new Christians. They took a risk of being persecuted but
were courageous and kind to stand in the Light to be seen as who they were with
their main ambition being to encourage, comfort, and urge the new Christians to
live worthy lives.
As we go about our day, let us
also stand in the Light to share this great message: All God wants from us is
our heart. Enjoy today’s video: All You’ve
Ever Wanted – Casting Crowns.
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive
philosophy which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces
of this world rather than on Christ. - Colossians 2:8
As written about in the post “Steadily Towards Victory”, the Thessalonians
overcame violent opposition but succeeded. They made the impossible possible
with a faith that was initiated by the love of God and His people. They went
the extra mile with the steadfastness of hope.
The world seems to always put us
in panic mode; making mountains out of mole hills but we don’t have to follow
or listen to what the world tells us … just keep heading steadily towards the victory knowing grace wins every time.
This day with God, have the
attitude that we’ve been there, done that because when constantly relying on
God’s guidance, the challenges in life are handled victoriously on a regular
bases. When they are, people will start looking at us and want what we have;
the hope that gives optimism in a time of despair, faith that gives courage in a
time of doubt, and the love of God which always brings victory.
The Bible gives us great advice
and because victory is assured through Jesus Christ, we will make it through
anything. Receive inspiration through this song: Through All of It – Colton Dixon.
The Lord blesses His people
with peace. – Psalm 29:11
The Creator of thunder,
lightning, and the winds of a powerful storm offers this same power to His
people. He also provides calm after the storm by blessing them with peace.
Let us give praise today to the
Source; the ONE who turns intense complexities into ordinary simplicities: The Same Power by Jeremy Camp.
God is our strength in
difficulties. He protects and leads in the right direction so our true
potential is realized. Provided are opportunities for a bright future because
our experiences can be our stepping-stones as the Lord carries us along the path.
Let us be an overcomer even when
things happen that should not or when those you thought you could trust do
something that makes you not trust them anymore. Be able to forgive, step
ahead, and be grateful for what you do have. Like in the song Carry Me by Josh Wilson, the Lord can
carry us from sinking sand to solid ground.
As explained in the post “No Fear since He is Near”, David prayed for
God’s power to get him through his difficulty. He desired God’s presence and
His protection from enemies. David trusted in God and went to Him in prayer for
strength. He was confident that God would pull him through.
Many of us in life, fear
rejection from friends or relatives. But we don’t have to fear because like
David, we can go to the Lord for strength. We may be rejected on earth but
rejection is never permanent. What is permanent is our acceptance by God when
we follow His Plan for
Us. Be a miracle for someone today
and reblog or forward this link. Always remember,
by accepting Christ as Savior, you are never rejected in heaven.
David said in Psalm 27:6 that he
would sing and make music to the Lord. Let’s do the same today as we praise Him
with today’s video: Good Fight by
Unspoken.
In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your
teaching show integrity, seriousness. - Titus 2:7
In the post “Freedom is Found”, the dominant theme is the
importance of maintaining integrity. Freedom is found when we are honest with
ourselves and lay our burdens down at the Cross.
Because of Cross, there is a freedom.
A freedom that helps us live, give, and love. A freedom that will speak and
teach; laying out a clear path that others can follow.
This day with God, Ask Him to
examine your heart and mind. Freedom will be found if you lay your burdens down
at the Cross. Just be honest with yourself as pointed out in this song:If We’re Honest – Francesca Battistelli.
For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only son, that
whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16
As shared in the post “The Loving Father”, David was in distress
but appealed to the quality of God’s character known as love. The Father gives
guidance, instruction, and security. The only requirement from us to receive an
instant lift higher today by accepting His gift of love.
Our mood can be instantly lifted
by the positive affirmation God gives us through the gift of His Son who was sacrificed
for us on the Cross. No matter what has happened in the past, the downward trend
can be reversed because the Cross is a big plus. Receive this gift from God and
be lifted higher today as you listen to this song of praise: At the Cross – Chris Tomlin.
