So in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to
all the others – Romans 12:5

appeal in Romans
12:1-8 relates to the status we have in Christ. As Christians, we are a
diverse group forming one body.
To show today that we are a
member of the body of Christ and to one another, let us use our individual God
given strengths to fulfill His purposes.
Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to
bring praise to God. - Romans 15:7
God has made us all for a
purpose and we need to celebrate differences.

humans varied as much in height as dogs do, the smallest person would be 2 feet
tall and the tallest person would stand 31 feet tall!
The picture we get from the post
“Always Remains the Same” is that we all are
different. Some are skilled in teaching, some are skilled in administration,
and others may be skilled in encouragement. We all also have some weaknesses
but let us be thankful that God always remains faithful, true, righteous, and
just.
Rather than expecting perfection
from others, we can accept each other as a child of God and work in unity using
our specific gifts God has given us. Then we are not competing against each
other but against our enemies like doubt, bondage, and hate.
As the scripture above says, we
should approach each day with the attitude of accepting one another. Take

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same
attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind
and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. -

other out with our unique abilities for God’s purposes.
A diverse group of people has an
advantage because with one mind and one voice, they have the opportunity to
pull together with various ideas and skill sets. Each day can be amazing when
we fix problems together.

One thought from the post “Understanding Each Other” was that one group
assumed another built an altar to rebel against God but after talking, they
understood it was built to worship Him. Many times, we may not know the whole
story but then are given the full picture. We then understand and can accept
the actions of others.
As pointed out in the song Losing by Tenth Avenue North, we may
feel like the one losing unless we appreciate God’s grace and accept one another just as Christ has
accepted you.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes
to the Father except through me.” – John 14:6
As written about in the post “Good Advice for Us in Today’s World”, there
were people who felt threatened by the gospel message because they thought it
interfered with their business pursuits. Those who made silver images of the
goddess named Artemis (moon goddess Diana) were not tolerant of the gospel
taught by Paul. It is amazing that after all these years, it’s not that much
different today.
What is important today for
those who believe in the Way is to get across that Christianity works well in
society because there is the understanding that God has made us all for a
purpose and we need to celebrate our diversity.
With this in mind, those of the

Christianity is broad-minded. It is clear from the response of Jesus that
Christianity respects the state and can work alongside it.
Christianity celebrates our
differences. God has made us all for a purpose and we need to understand that
our differences are really our strength. Not only are we all different in how we
think, but also in our physical attributes.

broad-minded in how people interact between their religion and the state, it is
also perfect for human relationships. Most of all, Christianity is absolutely
perfect in our relationship to God because it provides a way to return to Him.
