Pray Daily for Instructions

Each of us has a purpose and to be determined to fulfill this purpose, it’s important that we go to God in prayer too. If we have the right instructions and plan for our day, we have a better chance for things to fall into place so we accomplish more than we ever thought we could. Then day by day, our purpose is fulfilled.

Writing and reading about faith gives one a great purpose because we can highlight thoughts or ideas that encourage, energize and inspire just like this video: Every Good Thing – The Afters.

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will. - Romans 12:2

In the post Rise Up several parables are told by Jesus to inspire us to be productive. Like the man who still had hope in the unproductive fig tree, we can go the extra mile to work on the things in our life that are unproductive and need a little extra care.

We may not feel good at times but other times, we may feel lonely or we may feel inferior. Sometimes, we may just be physically worn out but these are the things that create resistance and ultimately make us stronger. Like the resistance when lifting weights to build our physical muscle, we can also build up our spiritual muscle.

Examples include the resistance of water as we swim laps to burn those extra calories or up a hill to the very top. Without resistance, the wings of a plane can’t produce lift to fly through the air. Without resistance to fear, there is no courage. Next time your day is filled with some resistance, smile at it, say thank You God, and keep going.

Remember, persistence like a stream of water eventually cuts into a rock and if we remain persistent at focusing on the possibilities God gives, we can cut into and go through any obstacle in our way. This day with God, ask that He keeps making you stronger and receive inspiration from this video: Keep Making Me – Sidewalk Prophets.

Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character, and character, hope. – Romans 5:3

Feeding the Soul with Thoughts of a Believer

In the post Ready for His Return at all Times I wrote about the need to pay attention to our spiritual health; getting ready for each day by feeding our souls with healthy thoughts and using our abilities to glorify God. At the end of each day, we should reflect on the good or bad things of the day to draw lessons from which to share with others.

We should pay attention to get things in order, get pride out of the way, admit our faults, and accept Jesus as Savior. Like predicting the weather, use discernment to see what God is doing. Get ready, get settled with the Lord, and prepared for the battle ahead. Here is a video to feed our soul with thoughts of a believer: Fix My Eyes on You – King and Country.

I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. - Psalm 16:8

Discovering the Treasures of Heaven is Priceless

Life is so much more than possessions and money. The passage studied and written about in the post Have Faith and the Lord will Provide is about what is really important in life. If we go after possessions, there is more stress and worry about losing them. Worry is worthless but discovering the treasures of heaven is priceless.

God’s Word provides food for a healthy mind, body, and soul and His Son creates light for our understanding. We can be inspired by a praise song that brings peace and joy to our day; music for our ears and inspiration for our souls: here’s today’s video: Beautiful Day – Jamie Grace. Enjoy!

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. – Luke 12:34

Bold and Persuasive Witness

There were warnings but also encouragement as I wrote in the post Of Most Importance is Jesus in Our Heart.   We should be inspired to be a bold and persuasive witness through the Holy Spirit. Because of the Holy Spirit, we receive counsel at all times to help us and here is a video poem to inspire our day with this thought in mind: Blessings Throughout Each Hour.

Enable me to speak Your word with great boldness. Stretch out Your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of Jesus. - Acts 4:29-30

Acts of Kindness

In the post Act Kind and Receive Kindness in Return, Jesus explains the need for leaders to remove obstacles instead of creating difficulties. The Pharisees and Layers created burdens that made the path to God very difficult.

What Jesus has done for us is make the path to God less burdensome rather than loaded down with the burdens of social ceremonies. In the same way, we should not set up any social barriers.

This day with God, receive inspiration from this video and look for opportunities to offer acts of kindness to others: Kindness Returns!

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. - Ephesians 4:32

Approach Each Day with Enthusiasm

Approach each day with enthusiasm by highlighting the amazing things around you in order to spark the interest of others. This is how you shine the light because the amazing parts of life are from God.

Every task can be done with an attitude of praise if we are filled with the power of the Holy Spirit to fulfill God’s purpose. Being filled is accomplished by study of God’s Word and striving to obey God’s instructions.

So this day with God, be optimistic, celebrate, see better days ahead, and be excited about the future. Do everything with an attitude of praise. Sing the uplifting songs so worry will flee and the eternal light can shine forever. After all, you are a child of the one true king: Hello My Name Is by Matthew West.

Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. - Psalm 33:3

Lift Up His Great Name

Written about are instructions from Jesus on how we should pray in the post The Model Prayer. There are basic needs we have each day that we can ask in prayer. Ask it in Jesus name as pointed out in today’s video: Your Great Name – Natalie Grant.

So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks; the door will be opened. - Luke 11:9-10

Law’s Requirements for Eternal Life

Some examples were studied the last few days of the law’s requirements for eternal life and written about in the post Love the Lord and Love Your Neighbor as Yourself.

The first example is the Parable of the Good Samaritan and the other is At the Home of Martha and Mary.

When we love the Lord, we care about His people. Here is a video that demonstrates how caring for others and being kind is like a relay in which we pass the baton to a teammate: Kindness Returns.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, Love your neighbor as yourself. - Luke 10:27

Stir Each Other Up to Boldly Step Ahead

In the study of Luke 10:1-24, I wrote that Jesus told the seventy-two that He sent ahead of Him to pray first and then just go in confidence and assurance that they would have great outcomes because of the power of the Father.

This day with you Lord, we can also go in confidence and build up Your kingdom. We pray that we get ready for the challenge of this day by going to You first for our needs. Lord, You created all things and with Your power, we can stir each other up to boldly step ahead and do as this video suggest: Build Your Kingdom Here - Rend Collective Experiment.

The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. - Luke 10:2
