Life will never be Diminished because of the Lamb without Blemish

The post Blood of the Lamb explains the Passover celebration that has been handed down from generation to generation. Traditions help us remember what the Lord has done for us and give us confidence for the future. While praying today, make a mental list of the things God had done and give thanks.  Here is today’s video blessing: My Savior My God – Aaron Shust.

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. - 1 Peter 1:18-19

The Need to Be Freed

The Pharaoh of Egypt continued to repent and ask that God take away the plagues but each time, he didn’t follow through with his end of the agreement. He wanted a compromise but as written about in the post No Compromises with God, we don’t make deals with God. He doesn’t need anything from us but we need something from Him.

We have a need to be freed and the only way to get it is to surrender all because we need His grace made available through Jesus. Here’s a song with this thought in mind: I Surrender - Hillsong.

But your hearts must be fully committed to the LORD our God, to live by His decrees and obey His commands, as at this time. – 1 Kings 8:61

Believe and Receive

As written about in the post No Greater Power, the Pharaoh of Egypt wouldn’t let the Israelites go and Moses confronted Pharaoh about the situation; even told him what God would do and when He did it, Pharaoh was amazed but then it didn’t take long for him to forget. Each time, another plague was sent to force Pharaoh to do what God wanted.

Pharaoh just didn’t get it; that the earth is the Lord’s – that there is no greater power than God. All it took was him to believe in God’s greatness and listen. There is grave danger for not believing yet many refuse God’s gift of grace.

Here’s a song to inspire believing and receiving today: We Believe - NewsBoys.

Has anything like this happened in your days, or even in the days of your fathers? Tell your children about it, let your children tell their children, and their children another generation. - Joel 1:2-3

Being Smart By Trusting

As written about in the post Perfect Guidance, the King of Egypt didn’t want to let the people go to the wilderness to worship God. He just wouldn’t give in even after several plagues but it’s not unlike how many are today at times.

There are many that will suffer through life because they are stubborn and refuse to open their heart and mind to listen to God. Maybe there is some unconfessed sin that has to be dealt with or some other character flaw.

All it takes is asking God for help by accepting Christ into the heart which is the main thought from this song: The Heart of Worship – Matt Redman.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. - Proverbs 3:5-6

The Humble Never Crumble When God Is With Them

As shared in the post He Answers Man’s Despairing Pleas with Plans, Moses knew his limits and was humble but Pharaoh would not take to heart the greatness of God. His stubbornness resulted in Egypt being cursed with plagues.

Even though Moses lacked confidence, there were aspects of his personality that God could use for a tremendous purpose. He humbly listened to God’s instructions and carried them out.

God can use you too and thinks you’re awesome! Just use the strengths He has given you, listen to His direction, be happy with who you are, and He will do the amazing part through you. Take encouragement from today’s video: Word of God Speak – MercyMe.

He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. – Proverbs 12:20

Irritations can Become Pearls

Some days are just frustrating and it takes some adjustment and soothing but like a piece of sand irritating a clam, our irritations might become our pearls.

This day with God, be an overcomer even when things happen that should not or when those you thought you could trust do something that makes you not trust them anymore. Be able to forgive, step ahead, and be grateful for what you do have. Here’s a video to spur us on with this thought: Overcomer - Mandisa.

To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on His throne. - Revelation 3:21

Focus On the Possibilities

Things can be frustrating but the thing to do is be patient and keep going. Remember God is working the plan. Go to Him for assurance and support when you’re pressured with problems or criticisms.

Believe this day with God will be amazing because of your faith in the possibilities He gives. Persistence like a stream of water eventually cuts into a rock and if we remain persistent at focusing on the possibilities God gives, we can cut into and go through any obstacle in our way. Take inspiration from this video: Everything I Need - Kutless.

So you must be brave. Don’t give up! God will honor you for obeying him. - 2 Chronicles 15:7

Follow the Voice of Truth

We face many challenges in life. One challenge is the complexity of our world today and because of these complexities, many things can go wrong. There is so much paper work to do and so many overlapping systems that cause us to not be able to focus on what is truly important.

But don’t give up when things go wrong. Like in the post Faith for Difficult Challenges about Moses having doubts, we all have doubts but we must believe that God will provide and our job is to carry out His instructions.

This day with God, if you feel a job is over your head, express your concerns in prayer and ask for the necessary skills. Ask for good helpers. Most of all, believe that God has given you a mission that will be carried out with His help. Here is a video to inspire courage during difficult challenges: Voice of Truth – Casting Crowns.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. – Matthew 6:23
