He Blesses Those Who Seek His Advice

example of their boldness as they stood up to the rulers, the elders, and the teachers of the law. They went through trying times but they were bold, they knew the power in Christ, and they prayed for their needs.

Let us also be bold today, pay attention to our dreams, and take action to create better situations for our future and the future of our loved ones. God blesses those who seek His advice and follow through with His guidance. Let us look forward to better times ahead and take inspiration from this video: Blessings – Laura Story.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God's people in accordance with the will of God. - Romans 8:26-27

We are Never Alone in Difficult Times

Many times people will oppose us just like in the post Boldness Given by the Holy Spirit when Peter proclaimed Christ as the Savior before the group that had crucified Him. Like Peter, when sharing about Christ we might face opposition but with the Lord, we can take courage and boldly stand up to them.

Remember, God is with us to fight our battles. Here is a video assuring that we are never alone during difficult times: I Am Not Alone – Kari Jobe.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. - Joshua 1:9

Step Ahead in Faith Towards Our Purpose

We have a much better shot at victory if we have a plan and through Jesus, God has given us a plan. Life may disappoint at times but the good news is that there is something better ahead if we step ahead in faith, choose to make every day count, seize the moment to be the light, and share this light with others.

Let us believe things will fall into place and let us see in our mind how great things will be accomplished today. Let us believe that this day with God will be amazing because of who He is and who we are; an important name in history – one of His children. Here is today’s inspiring video about who we are in Christ: Born Again - Newsboys.

“...let us know His secret purpose.  This was what God wanted, and He planned to do it through Christ.  His goal was to carry out His plan, when the right time came, that all things in heaven and on earth would be joined together in Christ as the head. - Ephesians 1:9-11

Power within Us

The post Empowerment gave one example of God empowering Peter to give healing to a crippled beggar. There is power in Jesus’ name and with this power, we can passionately believe in improved tomorrows.

Let nothing hold us up in our work for Him and know that one day at a time the impossible will become possible because God empowers His people. Let us praise the people who help us and remember to praise God. Here is today’s video to inspire us towards sharing our story: Life and Favor – John P. Kee.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us - Ephesians 3:20

Spiritual Living

The main thought brought out in the post New Life with Christ was that the believers approached spiritual living as a discipline. They responded by devoting themselves to the apostles’ teachings and to fellowship.

In life, sometimes we forget that God is the main reason for the good things in life. We focus on putting in all the time at work to climb the ladder of success or stay busy with friends trying to be all they want us to be. But God’s plan is for us is to grow spiritually and to share with others about our faith. Here is a video that brings our focus more on the things of God: Every Good Thing - The Afters

Filled with Joy and Living in Hope

Each day can be amazing because the risen, ascended, and active Christ makes a difference in our daily living. Because of Christ, we are filled with joy and live in hope because we can see the Lord always before us. Even in dark times, His light illuminates the world. Take encouragement from this video: We Won’t Be Shaken – Building 429.

Tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. - Romans 5:3-5

Step Out with Peace and See the Increase

In the post Promise Fulfilled, the followers of Jesus received the promised Holy Spirit and the power to spread the Good News around the world. The early church grew because it was a place of infinite challenge, intense fellowship, passionate prayer, and fervent outreach.

This same power is available today and we can passionately step out with peace of mind and see the increase. This day with God, let nothing hold us up in our work as we receive the power to one day at a time make what seems to be impossible, possible. Be inspired by this video: Break Every Chain – Jesus Culture.

Return and Discern

The followers of Christ joined together constantly in prayer and as explained in the post Vision for Decisions, they benefitted from scripture, prayer, and God’s providence to change the course of history.

We can tap into the same beneficial resources of God this New Year to enable us to make good decisions as we lead our families, communities, and work places; helping us to plan the right things to do for an amazing New Year. Receive inspiration from today’s video: Lead Me - Sanctus Real.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. - Proverbs 3:5-6
